ASA Programs
The American Spirit Academy is a school based on the concept of “one
size does not fit all”. That is to say that in today’s challenging world
our youth need the opportunity to tailor their education to fit their
unique academic needs and career objectives.
Accordingly, ASA provides the core curriculum but delivers these
through Programs tailored to meet unique objectives. The programs can be
viewed as colleges within ASA which is the university. Every Program has
the same core curriculum and then adds additional curriculum that is
unique to that Program’s mission. Each Program meets Ohio educational
standards and in most cases exceeds those standards.
An ASA student may take courses offered in Programs they are not
enrolled in as electives.
The current Programs offered by ASA are:
ELCS provides a distinctively Christian education with academic
excellence. ELCS is a nondenominational Judeo-Christian curriculum that
provides a superior education to each student.
ELCS curriculum is built around a classically based education model,
STEM and a Christian World View. As students for many generations after
our country was settled, ELCS provides a biblical foundation for
students to prepare them to enter the world. In addition to Bible
classes and Chapel, ELCS will provide courses on Religions of the World
to prepare graduates for an understanding of the increasing complexity
in our lives as various religions compete on the world stage.
Additionally, Apologetics will be taught to prepare graduates to
articulate their beliefs in the vernacular of today’s culture.
ISP offers motivated learners around the world the opportunity to
prepare for post-secondary education and provides them with cutting-edge
skills enabling them to compete in the global market. Students will
receive a quality education utilizing over 250 Lincoln Interactive
courses and to interact with fellow students both nationally and
internationally. Students earn a high school diploma no matter what
their zip code or time zone through this Cyber Program. Students who
complete the required number of credits will earn a high school diploma
granted by the American Spirit Academy and recognized by the state of
Ohio.
Innovative and effective educational strategies and a commitment to
student-centered service create a learning environment that empowers
each student to succeed. Certified teacher facilitators assigned to each
Lincoln Interactive course support students throughout the learning
process. Crafted to meet state and national standards, the Lincoln
Interactive curriculum presents students with engaging educational
experiences regardless of their geographical location.
